Appeals

What can I Appeal?

An apprentice, employer or provider can appeal any of the following:

  • An assessment decision by an assessor
  • The delivery of an assessment that affected an apprentice’s ability to demonstrate their Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
  • The conduct of an assessor and its impact on the apprentice’s assessment result
  • Issues within a centre that have resulted in the apprentice not being able to perform to their best ability
  • Decisions regarding an enquiry
  • Decisions regarding Reasonable Adjustments and Special Considerations
  • Any action taken against an apprentice, provider or employer following an investigation into malpractice, maladministration, or decisions relating to Recognition of Prior Learning
  • The way in which a complaint has been handled

If you wish to provide feedback or a complaint, please contact [email protected].

How to Appeal

Please complete the appeal form on this page and upload any evidence to support the appeal. The appeal must be submitted within 10 working days following being informed of a decision or outcome. For example, if the appeal is related to an assessment decision, this decision can only be appealed within 10 working days of the result being issued.

Failure to appeal a decision within that time will likely result in the appeal not being progressed further.

It is recommended that apprentices who wish to appeal their assessment results, or a decision affecting their achievement, should be supported by their provider or employer.

Once an appeal with evidence has been accepted, additional evidence cannot be submitted. You will receive an email acknowledging receipt of the appeal.

All appeals must include supporting evidence and what the expected outcome should be.

Construction EPA Company will resolve appeals within 7 workings days of receiving them unless extenuating circumstances impact this happening and you will be informed should this be the case.

For any questions about appeals, please contact [email protected].
